I will be presenting at the Twin Cities CFUG on Wednesday Night

This Wednesday, the 6th, I will be presenting "Intro to Application Security (Part 1)" at the Twin Cities ColdFusion User Group meeting. I am really looking forward to it. Right now I am feverishly working on finishing my slides.

This presentation will be Part 1 of 2 (or 3). There is a lot to Application Security and I want to try to cover as much as I can. I am going to try to keep it interesting, since, I think, most people find the subject boring. But I also want to try to get across the importance of the subject.

Here is what I will be discussing:

  • What is App Security?
  • Assets/Threats/Vulnerabilities/Attacks/Countermeasures
  • SQL Injection Attacks
  • Cross-Site Scripting Attacks
  • Cookie Exploits

I am looking forward to presenting again. I hope people find it enjoyable and useful. In the future I also hope to do some more "exciting" presentations.
