CFUGs are cool, and blogging is hard

Well, I just got home from my first ColdFusion user group meeting in St. Paul. It was really a lot of fun. It was great meeting other developers and learning new things and sharing what I knew. Kevin Penny from CodeFusion, lLC. gave an excellent presentation on "Advanced Multi-Server CF Installation & Development". I learned alot about server admin that I was not previously aware I even cared about. I love knowledge ike that.

I am really looking forward to attending more CFUG meetings in the future. I spoke with Troy Pullis, the CFUG Coordinator, about the possibility of becoming a presenter at the CFUG in the future and I got a favorable response. I think it would be fun and I am going to start planning topics.

I'm figuring out tht this blogging stuff is hard and requires some planning and time. I am going to continue doing it, but I really need to make some more time to build the tutorial posts that I want to do. I have several ideas for tutorials, plus blogging about issues I have had to work around using CF7, CF8 and Oracle. But already it is getting late. Maybe tomorrow during lunch.

Grrrr, I just remembered I still need to do my About page too.
