I will be speaking at the Minnesota Government Information Technology Symposium

This Wednesday (12/17/2008), I will be speaking at the Minnesota Government Information Technology Symposium in St. Paul, MN.

From their website:

"As the premier IT event for Minnesota's public sector, the IT Symposium typically draws over 1,300 people! With its variety of content and sessions, the event is for anyone involved with or interested in information technology from ALL units of government and education..."

I will be presenting for 2 1/2 hours. Wow! My presentation "An Introduction to Writing Secure Web Application" is a long one. It will cover:

  • Understanding Security Risks
  • SQL Injection
  • Cross Site Script (XSS)
  • Request Forgeries
  • Cookie Security
  • And if there is time: Password Security

I am hoping all goes well, and I am looking forward to having a great time with it. This will be a language neutral presentation. Where I do have code samples, I have tried to include ColdFusion, Java, PHP and C# samples.

StevenCrowly's Gravatar Guys, if you have any problems because of lack of education - educational courses! They are as important as an education in school or college. It is much more effective as for me. Because in college i used to avoiding to do hometasks on that subjects what i didn't appreciate. It is bad. i know. But what could i do?? it was not very interesting. And i asked <a href="https://pro-papers.com/academic-paper-writing-help...; to help me with that. And if you choose some course you would like to learn everything as for me. Because you've chosen it and you pay not little money for it :)
